Sales Account Manager with Berkmann Wine Cellars, working in a dynamic and commercial environment. Identify and seek out profitable sales opportunities with a designated account base. Targeting new business which is operationally viable, sustainable and commercially rewarding for Berkmann Wine Cellars and its partners.
An ambassadorial role, representing Berkmann Wine Cellars and its agencies in the U.K. on- trade sector, with a responsibility for implementing Marketing derived brand activity plans, including support activities. We have a role currently in the Essex area.
The successful applicant will inherit some existing accounts and seek out profitable sales opportunities within the designated geographical region. The successful applicant will live in or around Essex (and will have extensive knowledge of) their target area. This position requires the delivery of sales in order to achieve gross profit targets; increase prominence and visibility of key agency wines whilst working towards increasing company profile within the on-trade sector.
Positive, proactive participation within a results driven team, by displaying an entrepreneurial, “can do” attitude.
*Detailed wine knowledge.
*Experience within the On-Trade Industry required.
*Living in or near to, (with detailed geographical knowledge) of your target area.
*Analytical and numerate with attention to detail.
*Ability to complete a detailed price proposal and write a balanced wine list.
*Ability to communicate with confidence both internally and externally.
*Experience of working with Brand owners and strategic brand development would be advantageous.
