Business Development Executive; London - on-trade

Reporting directly to the Field Sales Manager, the Business Development Executive (On-Trade) will be required to maximise the distribution of Quintessential Brands’ premium brands in independent venues and smaller groups in London, securing listings, driving sales and executing brand activation to raise awareness and increase sales.

This exciting and varied opportunity includes the following key responsibilities:
• Deliver the commercial plan, focussing on driving distribution and growing revenue within the territory
• Support outlets in promoting our brands directly to consumers, using a variety of tactics, including staff training, tastings and developing promotional executions with customers
• Meet sales and call targets through effective call planning and personal organisation, including thorough account management and reporting of the territory
• Work collaboratively with On-Trade wholesalers to drive distribution and support tenders
• Improve understanding of the Quintessential Brands proposition and portfolio, building the company’s reputation in the On-Trade

Essential skills and experience:
• Experience of selling branded products, with a track record of commercial success
• Negotiation and influencing skills
• Strong, confident communicator with the ability to articulate about brands with passion and build relationships with customers
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the business
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Educated to A Level or equivalent

Desirable skills and experience:
• Knowledge of the On Trade or Foodservice sectors
• Bar experience and/or WSET qualification
