In this Junior National Accounts role, you will enjoy managing a diversity of accounts. You will be accountable for Majestic Wines, The Whisky Shop and a portfolio of Whisky Shops across the country. This role will entail the full management of our brands in your customers and you will be expected to negotiate terms, promotions and brand activations as well as managing the day to day customer requirements. You will also be expected to identify opportunities in specialised spirits stores (such as Whisky shops on the Royal Mile) to make sure our Whisky brands have full exposure.
The role is field based, however we like you being out seeing our customers and having a presence in our London/Winchester offices. This means that you will be expected to be in one of the offices and meeting your customer a day a week each. You will need to spend 3/5 days a month in Glasgow/ Edinburgh. Travel expenses will be paid.
Key responsibilities:
- Create, manage and execute the customer Joint Business Plans to achieve our sales, profit & distribution targets
- Call upon independent whisky shops driving distribution of our entire Whisky range
- Develop and nurture external relationships with the customer commercial, marketing and supply chain departments
- Activate our brands in line with marketing plans
- Understand upcoming opportunities with the customer, gaining internal sign off
- Manage internal forecasts, ensuring that all reporting/tracking is completed in a timely fashion
- Work cross functionally within the Cash & Carry/ Convenience team and with Bacardi Supply Chain and Finance, developing a good rapport and highlighting both your and the accounts profile
The Rewards:
For this role, you will receive the following: A competitive base salary, bonus rewards and competitive local market benefits. Your bonus (Sales Variable Pay) is paid out on a quarterly basis and over the year is worth 20% of your base salary. You will also receive 24 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, a generous product allowance per annum to be spent on our brands, phone, healthcare and pension.

Desired Skills and Experience
About you:
Ideally you will have between 2-4 years’ experience of working in targeted sales environments such as field sales or national account management.
To be successful in this role you must demonstrate passion and energy for our industry, sales and our brands, as well as a genuine desire to build and sustain lasting relationships. Embracing and truly understanding the commercial aspects of this role will be a key driver of your success along with your ability to take ownership and accountability of your own figures and results. You will be happy to work autonomously.
