Following the merger between Naked Wines and Majestic, Rowan Gormley (Founder of Naked Wines and Chief Executive of the enlarged group), has set the wheels in motion of transforming the business into a new kind of retailer – a retailer that is loved by customers, loved by suppliers and loved by shareholders.
This transformation is brought to life by our talented team at the Support Centre, Watford, which houses all departments working behind the scenes such as People, Customer, IT, Transformation, Finance and Supply Chain.
Reporting to the Head of Trade Planning this position will be overseeing all trading aspects of the website including the trading plan, content and merchandising to drive revenue, gross profit & customer retention.
You will be a digital trader with a proven track record of driving sales and profitability whilst ensuring content accuracy and optimal online journey. You should be able to capitalise on insights and learnings quickly, through the application of a broad range of trading levers, strategies and techniques.

Revenue +15% H2/GP
Site changes - right first time
All online briefs delivered on time as expected
Helpdesk within SLA (24 hours)
Trade Plan: Updating and ensuring it is aligned with business
Ensuring all content is accurate on the site and aligned with trade plan
Merchandising: Ensuring merchandising supports business & online objectives
Imagery: Every product must have imagery.
Managing Online Helpdesk within SLA
Working with the marketing team to manage the online calendar - undertaking all actions promotions and merchandising across the website to reflect the marketing calendar
Ensuring the architecture of the site is optimised fully for SEO and site is monitored and updated regularly to ensure SEO high standards.
Work with creative, content and marketing teams to ensure effective product campaign co-ordination.
Responsible for briefing all creative for site changes and updates to the Creative Team
Responsible for maximising the sales and profit potential of online utilising analysis and data
Knowledge and Skills
Planning, prioritisation and delivery focused with a commerical accumen and problem solving approach
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate and influence effectively at management level
Proficient with Google Analytics and previous experience in SEO
Excellent administrative, multi-tasking and organisational skills
Flexible attitude and positive approach to change. A team player, self-motivated, proactive and energetic
Previous experience in digital trading role. Data-driven candidate excellent analysis skillset and attention to detail
