At Pococello we are on a mission to re-invent limoncello. We want the divine drink from Italy to have the same love and respect here in the UK. This sales role will be the driving force behind making Pococello limoncello a staple choice on drinks menus across London.
Delivering new Pococello accounts and achieving sales targets. The focus here is more charm than ruthlessness.
Understanding and identifying what constitutes a great customer and how best to work well with them.
Becoming the unforgettable, loved face of Pococello – being at the end of a phone when our customers need you, and charming them when visiting
Maintain relationships with current customers and the wholesale account managers that service them
Mixing your time diligently between finding new business customers for Pococello and keeping the ones we have happy and maximising their use of Pococello
Being the person that cares more than anything about the Pococello serve being perfect, wherever they are served.
In-store samplings and trainings – spreading the Pococello word to on-trade and consumers
Brand activation support – getting involved with the ways we bring Pococello to life in the on-trade
Anything and everything involved in being part of a small team – from driving our Piaggio APE van around London to events, to helping peel 8000 lemons as part of our next batch of limoncello!
1-2 years of sales experience. Commercial experience that has given you an understanding of setup of wholesalers and RTM. FMCG, and specifically within the alcohol sector experience advantageous.
An ambitious and positive attitude – you will be convincing bar managers that they want Pococello on their cocktail menu instead of another new gin brand
Selling skills – questioning, listening, identifying needs, overcoming objections
Basic negotiation skills
Self-motivated – you will be reporting weekly to the team, but will shape your week and need to have the attitude to set this up efficiently
