We are recruiting within our Supply Chain team for an analytical, detail oriented, Excel whizz. As a Demand Planner you will be joining a successful Twickenham based team with some excellent professional development opportunities ahead. You will support the Demand Planning process for the Nordics, Western Europe and Travel Retail which includes the co-ordination of sales forecasts to achieve the EMEA strategic targets.

What will you do as a Demand Planner?
•Challenge, influence and validate monthly (weekly where relevant) sales forecasts with Business Unit Managers and Sector Controllers.
•Deliver executive summary reports highlighting major risks & opportunities
•Manage the EPOS & stock on hand information in order to provide communication that facilitates decision making.
•Lead Commercial Demand reviews with Business Managers, Sector Controllers & Finance Commercial Analysts.
•Create and maintain the rolling 24 month Demand Forecast through statistical models
•Coordinate and manage Demand changes from key areas within the Business Unit including sales, marketing and allocations.
•Publish timely forecasts to the fulfilment module and the Data Warehouse for Production.
•Develop continuous improvements to the forecast
•Manage & Own relevant Demand Reports ensuring accuracy to support key decision making for the Business Units and EMEA.
•Own the process for tracking and flagging distribution changes to sales, marketing and supply.
•Support where applicable consumer insights and utilize consumer insights desktop solution
•Some regular travelling to the Nordic markets
To be our next Demand Planner you will have:
•Degree level qualification desirable
•Previous Demand Planning experience in an FMCG environment essential
•Excellent proficiency in Excel and other MS Office
•Knowledge and experience ERP’s or planning systems
•Knowledge and experience in statistical modelling.
•Understanding of or ability to learn Data Warehouse & Reporting tools.
•Analytical approach and highly numerate.
•Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
•Ability to manage complexity and prioritise in a time pressured environment.
•Problem solving capabilities.
•Good business / commercial acumen.
