Business Development Manager- North & East London

Our client is a premium spirits producer and brand owner with a superb range of international spirits brands. Their brands are highly regarded by mixologists and offer a high level of diversity and versatility. The UK on trade sector is one of the most prominent markets for driving both sales awareness and brand equity. In order to facilitate continued growth across premium On-Trade and Specialist accounts we require a Business Development Manager to cover North and East London.

Armed with superb brands and working closely with premium accounts the successful candidate will demonstrate a true passion and knowledge of the spirits market and mixology. This position will suit dynamic, highly professional and energetic individuals wanting to forge a career in premium beverages.

High levels of tenacity, enthusiasm and passion together with an understanding of commercial planning and negotiation are required. You will take responsibility for your area and work towards building long lasting, fruitful relationships with your customers. For the successful candidates a clear and achievable career path lies in waiting as great performance is rewarded.

Candidates will demonstrate a good understanding of the On-Trade sales environment and provide an organised, passionate and focused approach to work. You will have exposure to direct sales negotiation or field marketing. Candidates from the alcohol sector are best qualified and Sales Executives currently working in spirits or Mixologists looking to add a commercial edge to their career will be most readily suited to this role.

Key Criteria points:
- Strong exposure to working with premium spirits brands.
- Good exposure to direct sales or mixology in the On Trade sales arena.
- Strong organisational skills backed with high levels of energy and a can-do attitude
- A clear ability to work strategically and at the hands on level with customers
- An in-depth and strong passion for premium spirits and mixology
- Demonstrable evidence of strong negotiation, commercial and strategic planning skills.
