Role scope:

Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey Brand Manager (JDTW) is responsible for managing and delivering the profitable growth of JDTW, the existing JDTW Ready To Serve business in the Off Trade, and JDTC across the On and Off Trade in the UK; whilst accelerating Jack Daniel's portfolio Brand Profit growth through Gifting and Limited Editions

Key responsibilities:

JDTW Off Trade and e.com

- Build a deep understanding of Shopper insights and work closely with CPA team to develop innovative shopper strategy and plans, which are aligned with the wider consumer strategy, to increase pool of JDTW shoppers in Grocery and Managed Convenience; delivering the profitable growth

- Work with CPA team on e-commerce opportunities (grocers, Amazon) for JDTW brand education and brand promotions, ensuring JDTW is creatively expressed in a premium and consistent way with the broader Marketing Mix

- Be the brand guardian for how JDTW is positioned within North American Whiskey category work in the Off trade

JDTC

- Working closely with Sales, CPA and Finance, lead the development and implementation of 3 year launch

- Agency management: Initiate close, consistent communication with internal and external agencies

- P&L and A&P management: Manage and regularly review the total brand A&P budget, maximising resources and ensuring spend levels are as agreed. Closely managing your P&L's ensuring delivery of expected profit margins

JDTW Limited Editions, Gift Packs and Licensing

- Innovate against Shopper insights with added value, gifting, licensing and merchandising brand led initiatives to grow JDTW share of all Gifting occasions; balancing JDTW volume / value sales growth

- Innovate for value by developing a pipeline of JDTW Gifting offerings with high SNS/9l, for Grocery and online Jack store, working closely with BBI team, Sales, CPA and Global JD team

- Work cross functionally with Global, Sales, Finance and CPA to ensure there's a clear Limited Edition Strategy and Pipeline, with a clear role to engage the trade and a high SNS/9l

JDTW Premix

- Deliver annual Volume and Brand Profit targets for JDTW RTS/RTP range working closely with UK cross functional team (CPA, Sales, Finance)

- Manage annual Brand Planning process to deliver Brand Profit growth in line with or in excess of targets

- Work closely with BBI and CPA teams to identify new sources of growth for exiting JDTW RTS portfolio through unlocking consumer usage occasions identified in UK Demand Landscape study

- Lead creative direction and sign off of JDTW RTS creative expression at POP

- Manage Jack & Light cola Premix and Lynchburg Lemonade, working closely with CPA team, ensuring these new JD Premix receive the required focus to gain traction and deliver strong ROS

- Scope and recommend future JDTW RTS innovation working closely with BBI team and looking at best practice innovation from other B-F markets and industries to drive incremental Brand Profit for JD portfolio

- Lead the evolution of packing and innovation around format for JDTW RTS and RTP

- Create insightful monthly reports measuring and evaluating JDTW Off Trade, JD Premix and JDTC performance, suggesting course corrections, as necessary, to close volume and/or value gaps.

Required brand and commercial experience:

- Project management

- Agency management

- Product and Marketing innovation launches

- Social Media activation experience

- A&P and P&L management

- Cross functional working

Required qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or similar discipline

Other requirements:

- Willing to travel and attend work events during week / evenings / weekend in and outside the UK
