Heineken UK are implementing a significant IT business transformational change. There are a number of new vacancies as we align ourselves with the business to deliver an unprecedented portfolio of change, including, the integration of a major acquisition of 1900 pub estate; a programme of 26 "business transformation" projects across our business; a complete redesign of our supply chain arrangements; a maturing of our market-leading B2B digital proposition, and a desire to drive a digital agenda across the business, specifically as we interact with our consumers, customers and colleagues.
We've ambitious goals. And we know it's the expertise and enthusiasm of our people that fuels our growth. Right now we're looking for an outstanding Digital Architect to join our team.
Reporting into the IT manager this exciting role will help Heineken in the UK develop and deliver capabilities in web development, plug and play applications, mobile apps, data science and innovation. Sitting within the local Business Systems team, this role is critical in both delivering current needs but also in preparing the organisation for the changing technology landscape.
You will establish and run an "innovation incubator" for generating ideas and turn them into proof of concepts; prototypes or pilots. This will introduce a new set of capabilities and accelerate turning ideas into action. Part of your responsibility will be to manage the delivery of large digital projects and co-ordinate the delivery through internal and external SMEs to ensure that the project achieves a successful outcome.
You will be in charge of a £45k Digital & Innovation budget with 5 direct reports including digital consultant and .net developers and will be qualified to degree level and will have 2 years' experience working in a Digital domain. You will have previous experience working with senior (leadership level) stakeholders and 5+ years' experience working in multi-project, matrix management environment. High levels of technical credibility and independent judgment and decision-making responsibilities is essential and working within a local and global context is preferred
