Contract Manager - Secondary Logistics

Function: Customer Services & Logistics
Location: Can be based from Edinburgh, London, or Manchester
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + competitive package including an Award Winning Pension

Your Flexible benefits are worked out as 15% of the base salary which you can take as cash or as a car allowance

The Role

The HEINEKEN UK Customer Service & Logistics function are undergoing a major transformation project throughout 2018 and as the Contracts Manager - Secondary Logistics you will be part of a new team responsible for managing the operation moving forward and embedding the new ways of working. Working directly with the Head of Logistics you will provide cost effective secondary logistics service whilst maintaining service standards to the appropriate customer base.

The success of this role is largely dependent our external 3rd parties and therefore you will need to have a natural flair in managing these relationships whilst balancing cost (contractual cost and operational budgets of £60m+), service and safety will be a significant challenge. We will also need your experience in dealing with B2B client / supplier relationship management at a senior level in an operational management (Distribution/Logistics experience would be preferred) You will have previous experience in managing significant Logistics Process improvement activities and will have good working knowledge of secondary operations and the key challenges to deliver excellent customer service in the secondary area.
