Working closely with our Sales teams, customers, Supply Planner and NPD teams, you will be responsible for analysing and creating accurate forecasts. On top of this you will be responsible for planning NPD launches, and creating amazing relationships with our customers.  We Bleed Craft Beer. Delivering the freshest craft beer to the people at the exact time they want it is impossible without on-point planning.


- Using demand planning tools & systems, generate estimated demands for a defined horizon (including the generation of statistical forecast baselines) & lead Forecast Review Meetings with the Sales teams to make the necessary adjustments.

- Work closely with Sales teams to identify risks & opportunities within product forecasts.

- Ensure forecasts for New Product Introduction are regularly reviewed and maintained.

- Ensure planning parameters in all relevant systems are maintained accurately & in line with agreed service level agreements with customers or external warehouses.

- Contribute to strategic global & regional projects that will use demand forecasting as a lever to unlock further benefits in supply chain (e.g. inventory control, ERP, supply chain improvements)

- Deliver product forecast to Supply Planner as required for Supply/Production Planning activities

- Measure & monitor demand forecasting KPIs and work with Sales teams to drive improvements in accuracy, bias, working capital and customer service.

- Develop tools, systems & reports for improving demand planning and forecast accuracy

- Work closely with IT department during implementation of new tools or software

- Develop an appreciation of the total supply chain & the capability of suppliers to respond to changes in demand

- Host weekly sales meetings focusing on demand planning, communicating issues with supply, planning of key events / accounts, and generally establishing & maintaining effective and efficient communication between planning & sales

- Host the S&OP meetings, using them to communicate to the leadership groups, all the way to director level, feeding critical action points into Mission Control to drive forward the performance of Brewdog

- Key role in ensuring new product launches are hit on time, with all your own tasks to be completed on time

- Other KPIs you are responsible for are (but not limited to): forecast accuracy, forecast bias, aged stock, stock at risk of ageing & stock value

- Working with Production Planner & Demand Planner to generate forward Demand vs Supply capabilities, creating efficiencies where possible

- Have a well-rounded knowledge of the end to end supply chain, and the role demand planning plays within this

- Play a critical role within the weekly planning & production meetings, ensuring all timelines are kept to, and all detail on the demand plan are fully prepared and communicated

- Identify long term strategic demand and supply opportunities that create efficiencies and reduce cost in the supply chain

- Work within the wider supply chain and production team to develop best practices and share knowledge.

- Ad-hoc reporting as required by SCLT 


- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, being proactive in approach

- Uses initiative and can work with autonomy

- Well organised, methodical, fast paced with an eye for detail and the ability to cope well under pressure.

- Ability to constructively challenge others in order to improve the KPIs and drive Brewdog's performance

- Great ability to understand impacts on different departments

- Ability to plan, schedule and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Experience of working in a fast-paced FMCG environment

- Some retail or business to business operations experience

- Working knowledge of SAP or another similar ERP system

- Advanced Excel user with strong mathematical skills

- Logical & analytical thinker with exceptional attention to detail
