Working as part of a small Credit Control team, you will be undertaking a range of duties on a day to day basis including setting up accounts, collecting payments, and setting credit limits, all whilst ensuring everything you do meets our compliance agenda.
To provide a first class, value-added, customer experience to both private clients and on trade customers and understand the difference of how to communicate with and influence these stakeholders.
Qualifications and experience required
We are, first and foremost, looking for somebody that is passionate about what they do. A genuine interest in wine is not essential, but will certainly help within this role, but any experience within a luxury industry will stand you in good stead to be successful.
You will need to have experience within a similar Credit Control environment and ideally have an understanding of the legalities and processes behind collecting payments or following up when payments are not made.
It's imperative within the Credit Controller role that you are a strong communicator, able to deal with and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, as well as being a confident PC user. Any experience of programs such as Wine Industry ERP or Excel will be hugely beneficial.
