We are a young, new company with a big vision – to shake up the drinks industry with our tequila brand Black Fire. We now seek a talented and energetic sales person to represent our brand across three of the most important cities in England; Manchester, Liverpool & Leeds.
Each day will be different, with a diverse portfolio of accounts and varied customer types across 3 of the most important cities in the UK. You will be building sales and recruiting new customers by representing our brand across a multitude of sales channels.
Reporting to the Directors and ultimately the owners of the business, you must have a passion for quality produce and spirits with a natural interest in sales, brand building, customer service and thrive in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment.
You are a passionate, outgoing, confident and highly organised sales person, with a proven track record working with drinks brands and customer development and reporting. You will also be a candidate with the ambition to work hard and succeed.
Key responsibilities will include:
Own the Northern heartland for Black Fire with on trade accounts & multiple groups across Manchester, Liverpool & Leeds, articulating our story and generally riding the shot world of florescent and sugary juice!
Gain listings by introducing the brand to accounts
Promote & work alongside existing accounts to maximise exposure & uplift sales
Host in-house tastings and trainings where applicable for our consumers and customers
Working with regional wholesale customers and their account teams to build brand advocacy & increase brand presence across these major cities.
Support the sales team and feed the marketing team with new ideas and brand content
Keep records up to date using Salesforce to support the sales and marketing function
Be a passionate and natural sales professional and know how to drink a shot.
Have a comprehensive and current understanding of Manchester’s on-trade
Driven by building enduring relationships, exceptional customer service and a passion for great brands
Confident, proactive, self-starting, hardworking and ambitious
Attention to detail, including customer records and commercially astute
Can positively and professionally represent the brand at all times
Minimum of 3 years’ field sales experience, managing and delivering sales targets, ideally in beer, wine & spirits
Preferably educated to degree level
Excellent and efficient organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Full, clean driving license
Preferably live in Manchester
Preferably have a social media presence & be tech savvy with CRM experience.
This role will require occasional weekend and evening working, so you must be flexible in working these hours but this is not an office job.
