The Shopper Marketing Manager leads the execution of all digital, in ad and couponing activity related to shopper marketing programs.  Additionally, this position helps drive the retail execution of all national in scope shopper marketing platform programs.  This role works in collaboration with Diageo Divisions and Distributors as well as across the full shopper marketing team to find efficiencies, maintain team programming calendar, and help optimize how we work. The desired outcome of this role is to execute all trade activity in a seamless fashion with the scale that was agreed to by the customer.

Financial
- Manage end to end program development and associated A&P budgets

 
Complexity
- Proven ability to execute market level programs working collaboratively with agencies, distributors and retailers

- Ability to juggle numerous projects at one time with excellent project management skills

- Strong understanding of all aspects of shopper marketing, trade marketing and most importantly, promotional/couponing vehicles

 
Leadership Responsibilities and Decision Making Rights
- Must be able to build relationships and influence decision making internally and at our key customers

- Strong ability to manage multiple agencies and make informed decisions about what the best course of action is to ensure optimal execution

 
Top 3-5 Accountabilities
- Works with national and regional shopper marketing to execute promotional programs

- Maintains team programming calendar to hold team accountable to timelines and looks for efficiencies in execution

- Identifies new vehicle for delivering couponing/in ad activity

- Works with Division, Distributor to ensure all market level needs are met for a given program

- Conducts M&E on executed programs and recommends new ways to improve ROI

 
Qualifications and Experience Required              
College graduate with 5-7 years relevant experience that should include: 
- Proven success in developing, and executing, promotional programs with small and large customers

- Strong agency management experience and proven ability to deliver world class outputs

- Sales/marketing experience with major CPG companies and/or agency experience a plus

- Strong presentation and communication skills
