The role is focused on ensuring a high quality of service delivery and ensuring the robust delivery of Diageo's Talent Ambition, whether through an internal move or an external hire. This is a People Manager role with a minimum of four direct reports.
Leadership Responsibilities/ Key Stakeholders:
To deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience: 
-  Lead, engage and inspire their team to achieve all KPIs
-  Be able to lead at distance across multiple key locations and be able to create energy and passion
-  Take part as a member of talent boards, as required and drive process optimization for internal and external processes and frameworks
-  Act like an owner to build the Global Diageo Employer Brand in the relevant markets and ensure the EVP is brought to life
-  Build strong relationships across multiple stakeholder groups, including different cultures/markets, internal & external
-  Work closely with other key TE colleagues, regionally, globally and within the CoEs
-  Strong ability to influence and align key decision makers
-  Deep personal accountability for great performance - ability to lead the strategy and know where and when to intervene against those areas that will drive greatest performance impact
-  Highly tuned external & internal radar - understanding of best practice in resourcing and development of appropriate network/contacts
-  Thinks into the future and brings this into the organisation to shape others ideas and actions
-  Provide coaching as an expert in the resourcing, hiring and talent planning process enabling a high standard of best practice and facilitating brilliant talent moves and hires
Top 3-5 Accountabilities

1. Own the end to end performance of the performance of the TE team supporting the Americas region and drive the performance possibility by: 
- Embedding the change in internal and external resourcing processes and capabilities to ensure we achieve our performance ambition

- Lead the talent engagement organization, providing standard service in line with KPIS and market needs, ensuring great candidate experience - internal and external.

- Maintain capabilities and standards across the L6&7 Hiring talent engagement team and develop/deploy capability interventions as needed

- Contribute to the development and application of the global policies and tools that enable the resourcing process

- Drives strong advocacy around the employee referral programme to enable  a truly global program for internal engagement and external hiring

2. Support in market campaigns to ensure the Candidate Pipeline Team are being enabled to build talent pipelines for Diageo

Qualifications and Experience Required
- A resourcing and talent expert

- Strong operational leadership experience, ideally across multiple geographies

- Experience of managing multiple senior stakeholders in a fast paced environment

- Experience of managing a range of hiring

- Strong external radar and awareness of external best practice

- Ability to generate insight from data and generate action plans from data insights

- Have exceptional consultative skills and be able to influence action and change with stakeholders

- An ability to listen but also persuasively convey opinions and recommendations

- Have an understanding of the component parts of HR to understand how it is possible to deliver a high quality service to a client group

- An ability to work in the most confidential situations gaining trust and respect from candidates and hiring stakeholders

Location / Flexible Working Options: Norwalk ( NAM) or( LAC)

Travel Requirements: In this role, travel will be required. At a minimum an annual site visit to Brazil, Mexico and Colombia will be required. There will also be two Americas team meetings annually.
