Purpose of Role:  
Define the vision for what the industry leading online user experience means for the trade user across the customer journey from registration, ecommerce, self-service and content. Drive implementation and continual optimisation of this vision using varied sources of insights to achieve business goals. Opportunity to develop into a bigger role, supporting other platforms / global remit.
Top Accountabilities:
- Define Diageo's digital user experience vision, strategy and guidelines
- Ensure visual design consistency by defining design guidelines and documentation for the platform

- Define and implement new UX ways of working with the wider business embedding a design thinking approach to ensure delivery of best in class user experience for the platform including processes and tools

- Own and drive the end to end user experience design process
- Work with the business to understand requirements and objectives for both Diageo and the user

- Work with and manage the UX and UI team to develop user flows, sketches, wireframes and high fidelity designs

- Rapidly prototype and iterate products and features

- Analyse and provide regular actionable insight into the digital journey
- Define the KPIs and ongoing tracking for user experience

- Conduct User Research sessions and multivariant testing to continuously optimise from this

- Define and leverage digital user experience reporting and tools e.g. GA, multi-variant tools

- Attend seminars, workshops, and conferences to improve on existing job knowledge

Qualifications and Experience Required:
Skills required
- 3+ years User Experience - ideally B2B / FMCG / Alcohol industry

- Strong analytical and consumer insight skills, root cause analysis and data-driven thinking

- Experience of software tools:
- Prototyping for example Axure Pro/InVision

- Customer tracking and insights e.g. Google Analytics

- Sketching e.g. Sketch/InVision Studio

- Testing tools such as multi-variant testing tools

- Excel at team working:  working with and managing multiple stakeholders both internal and external agencies with the ability to prioritise often conflicting requirements, escalate issues and drive to resolution

- Experience in agile ways of working

- Business acumen ensuring user design also delivers against key business goals

- Languages - English (fluent), additional languages would be ideal
