About the role

The purpose of the Area Manager role is to be responsible for delivering the agreed sales targets in the region.

Internal Stakeholders: Alps country Mgr, Sales Mgr, Brand Mgrs, Customer Marketing, Sales Force Colleagues

External Stakeholders: Wholesalers, Customers, External partners, Event companies

Who We Are Looking For:

- Know yourself, and your areas for improvement, and more importantly your strengths and work to leverage those

- Know the on-trade in Switzerland, especially Bern well and understand the various stakeholder's agendas; Bar Owner, Bar Manager and Bar tender, etc.

- Have proven experience of sales in the on-trade channel

- Are self-propelled, fearless, and have a genuine desire to learn and take on new challenges.

- Have a clear drive and a proven track record of creating outstanding results

- Are determined to win, and doing it the 'right' way (i.e. according to our Values)

- Are a team player

- Are naturally curious and have a true drive to continuously improve

- Possess a healthy dissatisfaction with the status quo

- Appreciate the importance of measuring performance

- Are putting the consumer at the center of everything you do from a commercial perspective

- Work well under sometimes conflicting priorities and deadlines

- Are able to focus on focus deliverables and with a clear sense of urgency

- Are excited about and identify with BACARDÍ as a brand and a company.

- Have a B driver's license

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

- Execution of the Alps (Swiss) commercial strategy in the on-trade channel

- Implementation of the Picture of Success model in the on-trade

- Contracting key on-trade customers to sell our brands

- Drive visibility in the on-trade through Point of Sales materials

- Educate bartenders in perfect serve cocktail making

- Educate wholesalers in category knowledge on Rum, Gin, Vodka, Vermouth and Low Proof

- Supporting key on-trade customers to increase rotation of our brands via promotions and events

- Tracking Customer execution in Sales Force Automation tool

- Execution of commercial projects, such as Impacting Purchasing Decisions

Work Experience Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of on-trade field sales experience required

Educational Requirements: None specific

Language Skills:

- German Fluent Spoken/Written

- French (advantage) - Spoken

- Engish (advantage) - Basic
