About the role

The Local Finance Manager is responsible for the overall direction on the day to day finance and accounting in market. As well the coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of the following tasks ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and targets:

1. DSO Reduction, Optimization of Working Capital, and Cash Flow Management

2. Funding

3. Tax Optimization

4. Application of Finance & Accounting Best Practices

5. Supervise legal activities and compliance

6. Financial Reporting

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

Drive results & execellence in execution

- Manage local statutory accounting

- Monitor local cash-flows and Balance Sheet movements

- Liaise with local banks

- Ensure adequate level of internal controls

- SOX testing when applicable

- Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation

- Ensure right level of service agreed in the SLA is provided by BBS

- Coordinate Tax audits with local tax authorities following Global Tax guidelines

- Liaise with internal / external audits

- Implement action plans from audit recommendations

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive results & execellence in execution

- Manage local statutory accounting

- Local statutory compliance with regulations ensuring integrity and accuracy of financial information

- Coordinate right level of funding and capital structure aligned with Global Treasury

- Maintain good level of internal controls

- Ensure new regulations affecting (or potentially affecting) the business are communicated to the relevant people

- Shared service centre performance in-line with SLA

Critical experiences for success

To be successful in this role you will have/be:

- Finance/Accounting experience in multinational environment

- Strong accounting and financial technical skills

- Ability to work independently

- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks

- Strong communication skills that establishes, fosters and maintains working relationships with peers, management and Shared Service Centers

- Managed all types of audits (internal, external and tax)

Education

- CPA or equivalent (Knowledge of French GAAP)

- Master in Finance preferable

- SAP knowledge

- Language Skills: Fluent Englishand French (Oral & Written)

- Ability to create, develop and lead virtual teams.
