ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Category Manager, that will be part of our Category Management Team, that will be dedicated to the Off-Trade Channel and specially to Carrefour, Club del Gourmet and Convenience sub-channel, based in our Barcelona headquarters.
In this role there is the great opportunity to lead the growth of Vermouth and other Spirits categories in an everyday challenging channel. Where different format stores are evolving and there's a need of finding the balance between traditional off trade approach and new drive and proximity approach, of course increasing our core and premium portfolio business in line our above categories performance.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Analysis Category Data (Bacardi Brand's and Competitors) according with different source of information.
-Implementing and updating category dashboards (channels & major retailers in charge), based on panels and customers databases (Nielsen, Pospotential, others).
-Analysis of Customers Performance, by category, to identify business development opportunities or deviations and develop corrective actions when necessary.
-Implement and follow up the Category Management Projects, developing: Market reviews
-Definition of assortment / planogram (products and appropriate formats)
-Definition of merchandising plans for the point of sale
-Evaluate rate of sale of our brands and propose actions to get better results.
-Ensure projects' evaluation with the RGM Manager to optimize future plans and deliver feedback to the Teams involved.

-Performance: Achieve Net Sales Value (NSV) targets vs. budget and NSV per case target ahead of plan
-Value share: Deliver target value share growth
-Project Delivery: Deliver projects ensuring customer timelines are met
-Strategy: Be seen internally and externally as category experts and thought leaders. Bacardi is the go-to partner for all strategic category discussions for our customers.
-Measure & Evaluate: Set up clear KPIs for every key project, evaluate every activity and implement corrective actions where relevant
Critical experiences for success
CRITICAL EXPERIENCES FOR SUCCESS
-A strong knowledge about Shopper's Insights, major Retailers Ways of Working, as well as the Brands' Global Strategy, that will enable the development of better solutions for the channel and customers.
-Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or similar
-5+ years of professional experience in Sales, Category Management or Trade Marketing position in the Off-Trade channel. The experience in the Off-Trade channel is very valuable.
-High computer skills in Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Panels (ie Nitro, Kantar, IRI) and Merchandising (ie Spaceman).
-Advanced level of Spanish and English.
-Person with a high leadership and proactive component and initiative.
-It is essential to have experience in managing projects with sales teams.
-Demonstrated experience in passion for growth and teamwork.
