Your Flexible benefits are worked out as 15% of the base salary up to £15,000 which you can take as cash or as a car allowance

The Role

Reporting into the UK Procurement Services Manager, you will manage the team of UK Contract Managers to deliver the implementation and monitoring of all contracts with suppliers for the Heineken UK.

Your main responsibility will be to deliver the Contract Management strategy in the UK whilst ensuring the effective and proactive contract management of all UK contracts. You will lead the Contract Management team, undertaking the full remit of people management activities - recruit, development, train whilst trusting the team to work autonomously without micro-managing.

You will be challenged to identify and evaluate cost saving opportunities across contract management and you will ensure delivery of annual financial targets for own category responsibilities and the overall team targets.

With the ability to develop excellent working relationships with a wide range of senior people both internally and externally you will have previous people management experience and significant procurement experience with a well-developed network preferably in brewery & packaging.

You will preferably be CIPS qualified or working towards, and will have 7 direct reports. You will also have indirect management of 1,700 plus contracts with an annual spend of £550m.
