Maintenance Planner

Function: Brewing Operations
Location: Tadcaster
Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 plus competitive package

Why Join HEINEKEN?

There has never been a more exciting time to join the Heineken site in Tadcaster. As the flexible 'go to' brewery for Heineken, the site is a pivotal part of the Supply Chain network. Complexity is our strength and we currently brew and package (into bottles, cans or kegs) around 3.5 million hectolitres per year. We proudly brew some of the most important lager and ale brands in the UK, such as John Smith's, Birra Moretti, Newcastle Brown Ale, Murphy's, Fosters, Kronenbourg 1664, Amstel and Tiger.

What's the role?

This is a great role for an experienced Planner to get their teeth into, you will report directly into the Maintenance Manager, who you will need to work closely with as this role provides cover for when they are on leave, so not just your standard planner role. This role will provide you with a good blend of leadership growth and technical ability; you will be an integral part of the operational team ensuring that production schedules are met. This will be achieved through scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance plans to ensure HEINEKEN assets in our Draught Pack area (covering both the kegging and our state of the art Brewlock lines) meet performance targets and comply with statutory requirements and HEINEKEN standards.

What are we looking for?

With your relevant engineering and ideally safety qualifications too, and previous experience within a highly automated and safety-critical manufacturing site, we are hoping that you will come in and hit the ground running - although we will develop you with our continuous improvement methodology (we use TPM) being our fundamental way of working. If you have a positive outlook with a continuous improvement mindset, and solid experience of modern planned maintenance techniques and Computerised Maintenance Methodology (CMM) systems, then we want to hear from you.

Your confidence and ability to work autonomously, and with colleagues, will help build an awesome team culture and working environment based on trust, accountability and respect - one that you'll really enjoy being part of!

What do we offer?

Along with your salary, we offer an award-winning double matched pension (up to 10% from HEINEKEN), a performance bonus (paid twice annually), private health insurance, subsidised on-site canteen facilities, a case of our delicious products every month (can be accrued) plus a number of other perks included in your package.

PRIDE IN WHO WE ARE, PASSION FOR WHAT WE DO

Next Steps

Apply today with your CV and a covering letter. In your cover letter we would like you to do 2 things, 1) we would like you to give an overview of your engineering/background. And 2) At HEINEKEN we are passionate about Great British Pubs, simply tell us which pub, bar or restaurant is your favourite (it doesn't have to be one of ours) and the reasons why.
