In this role, you will sit in the European Shopper Marketing team that is part of the wider European Customer Marketing team. You will work closely with the European Global Customers sales team based in Hamburg and Amsterdam, as well as local sales teams around Europe including GB. You will take the European shopper marketing growth drivers and work both with the sales team and customer, finding a way to flawlessly execute at scale across markets. You will need be able to engage and influence senior leaders & their teams both internally and externally & be able to explain our brand growth drivers through a clear narrative that engages & inspires.

We are looking for an organised, disciplined & creative leader with the ability to bring to life Diageo's world-class line of brands in the biggest off-trade customers across Europe. Over the course of your career, you have developed the ability to translate creative assets into executional plans. You build strong relationships & flex your influence to get things done at pace. You are also able to work within a complex matrix organisation & handle ambiguity well.
Where will this take you?
You will sit at the heart of the Diageo Europe business, working multi-functionally with customer marketing, consumer marketing, sales digital commerce and finance. This will put you in an ideal situation to take on a commercial or marketing role in the future, either at a local or global level, and with the cross functional grounding you will gain, also builds the foundations to work across any function in the business.
You will have experience working in a customer marketing role ideally within an FMCG business. Previous experience in an off-trade commercial role is also an advantage. You will have to have good experience working with creative agencies and will be able to demonstrate strong marketing judgement as well as good commercial acumen through your CV and at interview.
Where will you be working?
The role is based in Park Royal, London but some travel (c.20%) will be required during the year to our European hubs. The role reports into the Europe Head of Shopper Marketing within the Europe Customer Marketing Team.
