Context/Scope
Responsible for delivering superior results against Diageo's execution growth drivers in the On Premise channel. Directly call on core set of top regional accounts in CT. Oversee and manage a team of third party specialists who are accountable for 40 on premise accounts each.

Purpose of Role
- Work collaboratively with Sales Director to maintain target account list and deliver against our Perfect Accounts standards in top regional accounts

- Own and manage the relationship with Inspira Marketing, Inc. and responsible for hiring on premise market specialists for Activation Army and Diageo Reserve

- Collaborate with distributors on scalable and engaging On Premise programs

- Set and manage monthly KPIs against programing and activation

- Build strong relationships with key accounts to ensure that our business plans are executed including sales/depletions and executional standards

- Quarterly business reviews with standard set of accounts

- Develop actionable key account roadmaps/plans and attain account-by-account level objectives in associations with distributors and direct personnel

- Link with Brand & Marketing teams to build and execute effective market plans

- Collaborate with Trade Marketing on POS ordering and management of distributor invoices

- Provide account guidance to Marketing for experiential activities within accounts to directly touch our consumers

- Proactively communicate on Yammer best practices, innovation launches and trade success

Team Management
- Oversight of 2 Full Time On Premise Sales Specialists for top millennial accounts (Activation Army) and top trend leading, Reserve accounts (Diageo Reserve)

- Develop a strong team culture and provide clarity on expected outcomes and clear accountability

- Communicate brand tactics from trade marketing teams to agency for execution

- Plan out activation calendar against focus brands

- Liaising with On Premise distributor personnel and distributor trade marketing

- Review program tracking weekly with Activation Army and Enthuse managers

- Develop agency capabilities through coaching and training modules focused on selling skills

- Review agency's effectiveness in the marketplace and sharing best practices with the agency to ensure the specialists are highly effective

- Own the compliance agenda with the outside agency

Qualifications and Experience Required
- 5+ years of On Premise experience with deep knowledge of the spirits category

- Strong influencing and presentation skills

- Passion for working hard and making a difference

- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment

- Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, MBA preferable

- Role is based in the CT Market
