From the hipster farm-to-table culture of Portland to the mountains and forests of Central and Southern Oregon, the Sales Specialist will constantly seek opportunities to grow our world-class brands across on and off premise.Responsibilities:\n\nManage the relationship with one the largest distributors in the country in the state of Oregon, in partnership with the Sales Director PNW and DM for OR WA\nAssist in the delivery of annual, quarterly and monthly execution targets for the assigned market\nEstablish and manage an agreed up account universe to maximize sales opportunities using the QDVP3 model (Quality, Distribution, Visibility, Price, Promotion and Persuasion)\nManage relationships with key accounts to drive visibility and customer value\nNegotiate and maximize Beer FMB presence in the on and off premise channels using the Persuasive Selling and 8 Stepsales models\nPlan and manage trade A P against proven growth drivers\n\nRelationships\n\nWork closely with the Distributor Manager for Columbia Distributing (based in Seattle) and report into the Sales Director, PNW (based in Bend)\nVery frequent contact with partners at Columbia Distributing's Oregon branches, especially Portland.\nExpected to maintain great working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including key retail accounts in Oregon in the on and off premise.\n\nKey Outputs:\n\nManage progress against planned volume, revenue and profit targets for Oregon with Sales Director and Columbia Distributor Manager\nCreate and hit distribution and execution targets for on and off premise, especially at critical promotion windows\nlsquo;On-the-ground' insights into Diageo brand performance and market conditions competitor activity\nBe a flawless ambassador for DBC brands and Diageo's corporate reputation, including 100% compliance to Diageo business practice standards and responsible drinking agenda\n\nQualifications and Experience Required:\n\nUndergraduate degree required. Must be a self-starter with a proven track record in influencing others with the use of fact based selling.
