There has never been a more exciting time to join our site in Manchester. We are firmly planted in the community thanks to a number of investments in the site over the past few years, totalling more than £70 Million. Our brewery remains a pivotal part of our UK supply chain network, producing around 5 million hectolitres per year of Foster's, Kronenbourg 1664 - and, more recently - Heineken. We're delighted to have been given the quality seal of approval from Amsterdam to make Heineken on our site - and as a bonus, we're making our carbon footprint smaller in the process.
What's the role?
Reporting directly into the Brewery Manager, this position is the senior Quality role on site; you will be responsible for ensuring a consistent approach to the application of quality standards. You will drive continuous improvement and develop the quality standards further to improve product quality and meet KPIs.
You will assist the creation and execution on site of a documented Quality or Process Management System, ensuring we adhere to the high Heineken global Quality Standards on site.
What we're looking for?
For this role, we would be looking for a natural collaborator who will be able to coach, educate, lead and inspire your multi-disciplinary Quality team and also work within cross-functional teams with regards to the measurement of raw materials, product, process and packaging standards.
We are looking for someone who is at a degree level (or equivalent) in Microbiology/Chemistry or an equivalent science-related field, you will be a qualified HACCP and ISO 9000 auditor.
