ABOUT BBR JAPAN:

BBR Japan was established in 1995 and became a 50/50 joint venture between Bacardi and Cutty Sark in 2000, subsequently being renamed to ES Japan. The Company has become Bacardi Japan when it was turned into a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bacardi in 2009.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

As the Human Resources Director, you will lead and champion the HR offering across the business, forming part of the local Leadership Team and also holding matrix relationships across the HR team globally.

The scope of this role includes Japan and a very small team base in South Korea.

The ideal candidate:

- Leads all aspects of HR, solves problems proactively, works collaborative across the business and is a strong business partner to the Country CEO.

- Creates strategic vision and planning for the next three years’ business perspectives

- Is dynamic and progressive thinking, to bring changes to the operations and local markets

- Leads assessment and upgrading of talent in critical areas/functions

- Is passionate for people with energy and a clear role model of leadership across the business

- Manages general administrative matters for the office with his/her team (mail, building services, etc.)

- Builds a budget that reflects the Company’s priorities and manages it throughout the year

Measures of success

- Significant experience in an HR leadership role

- Experience overseeing the entire scope of HR responsibilities at multi-national foreign-affiliated companies

- Able to diagnose organisational efficacy issues and recommend strategies to align the organisation with business performance requirements.

- Strong in organisational development with experience in organisation change leadership. Able to define and drive an organisational change initiative.

- Strong commercial acumen, sense and strategic skills

- A highly motivated, energetic, and fast-paced individual who possesses a constant desire for self-improvement and learning agility.

- An open-minded, responsive, supportive and flexible individual with sensitivity towards and attention to human behaviour.

- Excellent understanding and proficiency of Japanese employment/labour issues as well as knowledge and understanding of emerging developments in the HR field.

- Bilingual â€" proficiency in written and verbal form in English and Japanese

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

- Aligned with Bacardi’s culture pillars, values and leadership expectations
