This position will be responsible for providing payroll and tax related services, along with support to our financial accounting function. You will also be involved in the continuous improvement of controls, procedures and systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

Payroll tasks:

- Liaise with third party provider to validate payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

- Drive process improvements, data accuracy across payroll function

- Comply with relevant legislation and corporate guidelines

- Respond to payroll and tax related queries from employees and HR team

- Provide payroll analytics to management team

- Maintain novated lease balance and product allowance register

Accounting:

- Complete Fringe Benefit Tax return

- Maintain Fixed Asset Register

- Process banking in SAP

- Assist accounting team with various tasks, including journal processing, reconciliations, ABS surveys

- Support Senior Financial Accountant as required
