What's the role?

This role sits on the site leadership team and reports directly into the Site Manager, with a dotted line to the UK Head of Logistics, your responsibility will be to manage and lead the logistics operations, ensuring the safe and effective transport and storage of inbound materials and outbound finished goods. Along with 3 Logistics Shift Managers, your direct team will also include 3 planning colleagues, this is a leadership role requiring coaching and mentoring to get the best out of your team.

Collaboration will be key, both with your internal leadership team peer in packaging and with our chosen logistics partner. We place a huge emphasis on lean techniques, with our own methodology of Total Productive Management (TPM) that we work by.

What are we looking for?

To put it simply we are looking for an experienced Logistics Leader with recognised qualifications, however, what is more important to us is your planning and scheduling, and people management skills and experience within a large FMCG Logistics department.

Your can-do attitude and enthusiasm will be warmly welcomed and your problem-solving skills will be put to good use. If you have a positive and safety focused outlook with a continuous improvement mindset then we want to hear from you.
