For Diageo to achieve its ambitious growth and profitability aspirations; and in order to further drive the shift to a sell-out focused business, our markets have identified the need to significantly improve upon our execution at outlet via Every Day Great Execution (EDGE).

It is a shift that the Global Executive Committee and each of the Regional Presidents individually, have endorsed, and it will require a significant organizational shift. The role will be accountable for delivering improved outlet execution performance leading to improved market share, via Every Day Great Execution (EDGE) and a customer 360 digital strategy.

This role will provide candidates with an opportunity to be at the forefront in leading improved outlet execution and ultimately business performance; enabling Diageo to be a World Class Sales organization.

This is a global role; which is responsible for the development and implementation of the EDGE Virtual sales call customer portal. This is a critical element of our digital customer contact and engagement strategy.

Leadership Standards

- Win Through Execution by leading the transformation of EDGE Technology enablement area with the POD (development team) and in market product owner. This will be achieved by a ruthless focus on ensuring the right development and focus on embedding

- Act like an owner in demonstrating sole responsibility for decision making on all activities of the POD and doing so in a decisive fashion to ensure each sprint delivers on time and moves to implementation. Will also have shared accountability for implementation and holding self and others to the highest standards

Key Responsibilities and Output

- Sets the long term vision and investment priorities for a product (Customer Portal)

- Owns the Global Product Roadmap and the Global Product Backlog

- Leads definition and prioritization of all the Global Product User Stories in collaboration with the markets based on business value, importance and urgency

- Defines Global KPIs & benefits for Success

- Accountable for Global Product Success and Product Outcomes

- Speaks as "one voice for the customer" for the Global POD team

- Accepts or rejects work results of each sprint

- Represents the work of the Global POD team to the market stakeholder/customer portal community across the globe (including demos)

- Acts as a conduit between the commercial and marketing teams to ensure alignment and harmonization between the different portals being developed for the same end user group (influencers, such as bar owners, bar staff, bar tenders)

- Is accountable for business change management and user acceptance testing

Qualifications and Experience

- Commercial expertise in Field Sales & Customer Management, both on & off trade Field Sales experience

- Experience implementing a digital customer portal in a FMCG

- Experience driving transformation in line with the "Agile" methodology

- Ability to impact and influence through the organization from GM thru to front line sales representative
