The client is a renowned spirits business supplying superb brands to both the off-trade and on-trade. This progressive business is renowned for its tremendous development opportunities and exciting working environment. Due to internal progression, we require a National Account Executive/Manager to support, develop and maximise opportunities in the Grocery and E-Commerce account base. You will support on or directly manage pivotal accounts including Tesco, Amazon, Booker and Waitrose
Based ideally in Southern England, successful candidates will demonstrate strong exposure to leading FMCG/drinks brands and will be an NAE or NAM currently working in the Off Trade. You will currently negotiate directly with buying teams, control the P+L, develop strong relationships and provide a strong understanding of account management and sales development.
Your personal skills will include tenacity, energy and entrepreneurialism together with a broad commercial understanding of FMCG practices. Ideally educated to degree level, candidates will also demonstrate good leadership skills and a high level of gravitas for this position. The successful individual will have high levels of drive for success and a true ‘spark’ to achieve exceptional results. In addition, a passion/exposure to people management is an advantage.

Critical Criteria points:
- Background exposure to working with leading Drinks or FMCG brands.
- A dynamic and capable approach with scope for rapid future progression with a true ability to administer change and introduce new ideas.
- Extensive exposure to sales, account management in either branded Drinks, Food or Premium Brands.
- Good knowledge of the Off Trade convenience sector- E.G Grocery, Convenience or E-Comm etc..
- Demonstrable evidence of strong negotiation, commercial and planning skills.
