About the role

As Digital & Communications Manager - AMEA, you will drive the vision & strategy of the region's digital content and programs at a cross-brand level, lead the PR agenda and facilitate the digital commerce initiative. This will include partnerships in the digital space that drive increased consumer engagement on our brands and deliver measurable financial results. The role reports to Digital & Ecommerce Director AMEA, supported by a team (currently 2) across our markets. Overall:

- You will drive the regional digital & PR vision, strategy, execution & measurement of content, programs and partnerships, in close collaboration with Category Directors, Brand Managers and Country Commercial teams

- You will partner closely with Category teams as a strategic advisor to drive best in class digital programs and content, to achieve deeper consumer engagement with our brands

- You will facilitate the E-Commerce initiative for the region

- Representing the region in global engagements.

- This role is based in the Dubai office, a large percentage of your time will be spent interacting with commercial country teams, Global and Country Brand Category teams and agencies. As a result, you can expect a degree of travel to stay connected to all stakeholders.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

Consumer and customer understanding

- Builds deep quantitative and qualitative understanding of digital behaviours of target consumers on key brands across different Countries in the region in order to identify digital engagement opportunities

- Builds deep understanding of digital media consumption dynamics and how this varies across key demographics to provide strategic guidance to Category teams

- Integrated brand communication and activity planning

- Partners with Category Directors and Commercial teams as an expert advisor to ensure best in class fully integrated digital communications solutions are developed and delivered

- Lead agency conversations on the digital & PR Space

Manages the delivery of digital content programs or partnerships (e.g. social media partnership)

- Supports the adaptation and deployment of Global digital assets into the region

- Ensures that all digital assets developed follow the Bacardi Marketing Way best practice in the region

- Facilitate the integration into the region's IAP of Global Brand digital assets

Business performance management

- Ensures robust measurement and evaluation plan in place

- Leads the identification and codification of best practice digital content programs in the region to be rolled out to the cluster

Creating a winning team

- Develops capability & Supports the functioning of the matrix organization within and between the Global and Hub Experience & Engagement and Marketing teams

While the role encompasses digital, PR & Ecommerce agenda for AMEA, the expected responsibility distribution would be 70% on digital, 20% on PR and 10% on Ecommerce.

Measures of success

- Drive target ROI of key digital campaigns across the Hub

- Achieve target on key measures of digital impact of brands in the hub (reach and relevance, # of views/ click-through/ time spent/ re-tweets etc)

- Measurement and evaluation plan in place on >80% of Hub digital campaigns

- Drive value share and sales growth for all brands in the Hub

- Deliver on measures of social currency for all Brands in the Hub (e.g. social media buzz)

Critical experiences for success

To be successful in this role you will have/be:

- 10-12 years of experience of working with brands, with a background in running digital marketing & content for categories such as lifestyle, media companies (pref TV, Radio or OTT), digital agencies FMCG and lux portfolios

- Understanding of complexity of local consumer landscape

- Understanding of needs of different generations and impact on their relationships with Bacardi products

- Awareness of current trends / pop culture / style / music and sports

- The ability to work under pressure and to deal with ambiguity

- The understanding of legal regulations in the industry for the Region
