About the role

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be accountable for delivering Brand performance targets and driving value creation for our Company. You will serve as support for the Brand Team, collaborating on Brand management activities. You will be responsible for the planning, analysis, collaboration (in alignment with your Activation & Field teams) on Brand programs with a special focus on managing budget, performance analysis, POS development, ecommerce consumer programs, and assets to drive effective, local activation on the brand.

· You will input to the situation assessment of your Brand in the market and participate in building the annual Brand Integrated Activity Plan (IAP)

· You will actively monitor the A&P budget for the brand, working closely with the finance team to ensure the brand stays within budget and phasing

· You will be responsible for all POS development for Field/Programming

· You will be responsible for monthly business performance analysis, working closely with the financial performance team as needed

· You will manage the ecommerce channel and strategic direction for the Brand

· You will analyze Nielsen data to draw conclusions and recommendations for Brand

This role is based in Chicago and may require some travelling to meet with the Field, Agencies, and third parties.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

Consumer and Customer Understanding

· Partner with your full Marketing Team to build deep understanding of the target consumer for your Brand in your market in order to tailor execution of Brand activities effectively

· Actively consult on the situation assessment for the Brand, partnering with the Marketing Team to develop local consumer, shopper, and customer learnings on triggers and barriers to Brand growth

Category & Brand Strategy and Activity Planning

· Provide input into the definition of "Jobs To Be Done" in the Integrated Activity Plan (IAP)

· Provide guidance to Brand Manager and Marketing Director on effective deployment of Brand A&P by activity & channel in-market

Integrated Brand Communication

· Assists with in-market execution and implementation of all consumer-facing elements of the brand plan and provides brand input to Customer Marketing on all shopper-facing activity on the brand

· Accountable for delivery of POS as agreed with the Field, Brand, and Activation teams

· Helps ensure that all brand assets developed in the market adhere to Brand guidelines and local social responsibility policies and regulations and always follow best practice

· Provides support to Activation Team as needed

Business Performance Management

· Report monthly on brand performance

· Rigorously manage brand A&P budget in order to minimize costs and optimize returns on investment

· Actively monitor Brand activities and provide guidance on corrective action to achieve agreed objectives

· Analyze Nielsen data to draw conclusions and recommendations for brand

· Assists with developing measurement and evaluation plan for brand investments in order to identify, codify, and rollout successful Brand growth drivers

Developing Talent & Capability

· Participate in functional capability development as required

Measures of success

· Achieve Brand/ Category financial and commercial targets in market (revenue, profitability, share)

· Drive improved Brand health in market (e.g. awareness, penetration, engagement)

· Deliver on measures of social currency for your Brand in market (e.g. social media buzz)

· Ensure adherence to brand visual identity at all time

· Ensure measurement & evaluation plan in place on over 80% of Brand activity in market

Critical experiences for success

To be successful in this role you will have/be:

- Familiarity with Brand Management (digital, social, experiential marketing, events)

- Familiarity with Budget Management with an understanding of SAP/SRM systems

- Familiiarity with POS development and working with a procurement agency

- Verbal/written skills at all levels in an organization; ability to generate meaningful presentations

- BA/BS Degree and/or professional Marketing qualifications

- Fluent command in English

- Drinks and Luxury Category experience is an advantage

- Ability to work under pressure and to deal with ambiguity

- Curiosity to understand analytics for continuous improvement

- Ability to build effective relationships, work cross-functionally, manage agencies and project manage

- Entrepreneurship: manage financials, deliver projects, and develop ideas
