HR Master Data & Payroll Specialist with French

Job purpose

Manage HR master data & payroll related requests/queries. Monitor and track HR master data, payroll, time management system, pension and recruitment support. Handling urgent issues. Update related process documentation. Support process trainings. Manage reporting related payroll processes. Develop and lead process trainings. Maintain SLA and Client reports. Initiate and deliver project assignment. Develop leadership skills. Perform additional tasks upon Team Lead request. Act as backup for Team Lead on operational level. Perform additional tasks upon Team Lead request. Escalate / Solve system related queries/issues.

Business environment

Main characteristics

- Assisting in the full processing of the monthly payroll

- Registration of all absence and attendance types (holiday, sickness, special absences etc.) in SAP

- Assisting with the responsibility for distributing payroll output, having checked for errors or omissions before distribution. If errors or omissions are identified take corrective actions for next payroll run

- Assisting with the responsibility in maintaining accurate payroll records by ensuring that records are kept in accordance with quality standards

- Assisting with the responsibility for entering payroll and core details on SAP EOP to ensure cut off dates met

- Follow up the employee movements on a monthly base with the needed system updates and payments (emission; admission; permutation; maternity leave, pension)

- Follow up and update in the system with the employee shift related questions and queries

- Certificates Registration

- Create and distributes reports related to time and master data management on time

- Takes part in the creation of documentation of the team processes and keeps it updated

- Participate in the preparation of the month end close

- Ensure full compliance with AB-InBev standards, policies and procedures



- Adhere to any amendments made to the Service Level Agreement

- Participate in improvement projects relating to the field

- Planning and performing process improvements: automation, MD Transformation, People Portal

- Look constantly for quality improvement on data, reports and systems

Develop people

- Perform other duties as requested by the Team lead

- Train the new team members for team tasks

Qualifications and Technical competencies required


- A degree in related fields (Finance or HR) or experience on a related field is an advantage


- Customer-oriented work experience is an advantage

- Working experience with SAP is an advantage

- Experience in Finance, Payroll, HR or other related positions is an advantage

- High ability to build and maintain strong long-term relations

- Strong communication skills

Technical competencies

- Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills

- High level of IT affinity (MS Office applications: Excel, Word, Access, etc.)

- SAP-HR knowledge is an advantage

Language skills

- Fluent English in speaking, reading and writing (min B2)

- Intermediate French or Dutch in speaking, reading and writing (min B1)

- Other European language which is relevant to the country of operation is an advantage
