About the Role
The vision for Pernod Ricard UK’s marketing department is to become the most progressive and effective marketing team in the drinks sector. As a Brand, Experiential or Insights Marketeer, your role will focus on building meaningful consumer relationships with our brands by having consumer insight at the heart of all decisions. As a Brand Marketer, you will have overall responsibility for the strategic development of both Beefeater & Plymouth Gin and will lead the progression of integrated and innovative programmes for both brands. This may include above the line, digital and below the line activation.
This role requires high levels of energy, passion, drive, commercial acumen and innovation skills to maximise opportunities for both the company and the brands. Ideally already working in the spirits or drinks market, you likely be an SBM or Marketing Manager at present and will have managed P+L, agency relationships, creative design, special edition range design, innovation and teams of people in your career.
To develop and implement annual brand plans and the long term strategic brand direction.
To deliver agreed marketing and financial targets.
Development and execution of three-year strategic plans and annual brand plans
Development and application of compelling, relevant consumer and market insights
Development and execution of integrated communication strategies
Lead, manage and direct external marketing agencies
Analysis of the effectiveness of all marketing efforts against strategic objectives
Management and development of the product range strategy including NPD
Development and management of direct reports
Additional reasonable duties as required
Strong exposure to working with leading Drinks/FMCG brands (ideally spirits)
Strong affinity and knowledge of premium/luxury brands
Excellent commercial, classic marketing and team management skills
Leadership skills and high levels of gravitas and communication skills
Educated to degree level
High levels of passion and drive
