Tech Sales Manager On-Trade

The role:

On Trade is the largest sector of the beer category in which 75% of UK business Margin Pool sits. Pubs and Restaurants are in growth where each day consumers are looking for more intimate and premium experiences.

As a Sales and Tech Excellence Manager you will be responsible for generating strategies and solutions to support the On trade profit growth by reaching more customers, unlocking distribution and collaborating with key stakeholders to bring innovative solutions to the UK.

The Sales and Tech Excellence Manager plays a critical role in definition of the Commercial Strategy of the Channel by working with the cross functional team to define and deliver the strongest possible plans. The Sales and Tech Excellence Manager also takes full ownership of the field sales team strategy always maximizing our resources and increasing our profitability by monitoring their performance against their KPIs and defining commercial routines to evaluate sales excellence. You will be responsible for driving growth aligned to the business priorities. This will require ideation and strategic and analytical thinking as you support the balance between more distribution and healthy volume to drive profitable growth for the business.

The Sales and Tech Excellence Manager role is suited to individuals who want to develop their Commercial Management, Ideation and Analytical skills working with the On Trade leadership team, as well as developing a very strong, cross functional network with different Zones and teams within ABI.

As the Sales and Tech Excellence Manager you will:

- Support agreed ledgers on their growth strategy.

- Execute all assigned projects and activities to the given assignment plans (timely and with high quality).

- Provide in depth analysis around performance, recommendations and gap closure action plans.

- Participate in Weekly / Monthly Channel reviews.

- Manage requests received from the Business /other contacts in accordance with defined criteria.

- Seek out efficiency savings (both time and cost) in new ways of working and structure.

- Manage relation with our Reporting team in India and ensure services provision is according to SLAs.

- Develop a strong network of working relationships across the Channel and Zone.

- Proactively build ideation sessions contributing towards On Trade growth.

- Be a Budweiser Brewing Group UK&I Ambassador!

- Be an expert of the Channel.
