This is a company whose customers include Waitrose and other large supermarkets across the UK. You will be part of a team of two, co-ordinating logistics between the vineyards which are mostly in Europe and the Supermarkets.
This is a new role because the company is growing and the current logistics person is too busy so their role is splitting. You'll do the same job which will be varied and in time will 'own' your own clients. Some specific duties include:
Scheduling all inbound/outbound shipments
Liaising with customers and hauliers to ensure shipment dates are met
Create, maintain and manipulate spreadsheets with customer/shipment information
Work comfortably with conflicting deadlines
Help with the production planning effort
